Wabash managed 10 total shots, but could only put three toward the goal in a 4-0 North Coast Athletic Conference loss at Denison University Saturday afternoon.
Luis Quiroga, David Rosborough, and Gary Simkus each tested Big Red goalkeeper Kevin Donahue, but could not pick up a goal. While the Little Giants struggled to find a shot attempt, Denison peppered freshman goalkeeper Matt McClain with 10 total shots on goal, scoring in the final five minutes of the first half. The Big Red added three more goals midway through the final period of play for the victory.
Wabash (2-10-1, 1-3-1 NCAC) will play Franklin College Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in a home match at Mud Hollow Field.
