Wabash Tennis Team Falls To DePauw

The Wabash tennis team lost a 7-0 decision to DePauw University on Thursday evening at the Collett Tennis Center.

Mark Ratner (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) and Brian Miller (Ft. Wayne, IN/Homestead) picked up the only victory for the Little Giants as they took a 9-7 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Wabash falls to 9-13 for the season. The Little Giants will travel Springfield, Ohio to play Wittenberg University and Case Western Reserve University on Saturday.

No. 2 Singles - Matt Baird (D) defeated Scott Paramoure (W) 6-3, 7-6 (7-4)

No. 3 Singles - Greg Nammari (D) defeated Constantine Alexander (W) 6-2, 6-2

No. 4 Singles - Rick Lucas (D) defeated Brian Miller (W) 6-0, 7-5

No. 5 Singles - Dustin Thomas (D) defeated Todd Witte (W) 6-1, 6-1

No. 6 Singles - Ryan Lessmann (D) defeated Daniel Altman (W) 9-8 (7-2)

No. 1 Doubles - Ratner and Miller (W) defeated Fisk and Nammari (D) 9-7

No. 2 Doubles - Lucas and Thomas (D) defeated Alexander and Paramoure (W) 8-6

No. 3 Doubles - Baird and Lessmann (D) defeated Witte and Altman (W) 8-5
