Wabash tennis players Adam Van Zee and Jay Horrey are 10th in the Central Region in the first fall rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The pair won three victories in the Fall ITA Central Region Tournament, held in September at Washington University in St. Louis. Van Zee and Horrey scored a victory over the second-seed team of Charlie Cutler and Chris Hoeland from the host school.
Van Zee, a senior, and Horrey, a sophomore, were 16-11 in doubles play in 2006.
"Adam and Jay have worked really hard over the past year, and I’m really pleased to see them be recognized for their efforts," head coach Jason Hutchison. "I’m looking forward to having them together as a doubles team this season."
The 2007 season gets underway February 3 against Alma College.
