Divers Earn First Points at Conference Meet

Wabash freshmen divers Aaron Stump (Valparaiso, IN/Valparaiso) and Dustin Huner (Toledo, OH/Springfield) took fifth and sixth place on the one-meter board in the opening event of the 2002 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday night.

Stump took fifth place with a score of 252.20 in the finals after scoring a 272.25 in the preliminary round. Huner finished sixth with a score of 217.75 in the finals.

The pair earned 49 points for Wabash in the overall team score. The championships continue on Thursday and run through Saturday evening at the C.T Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio.
