It was a tough Saturday for the Wabash tennis team. The Little Giants fell in North Coast Athletic Conference action to College of Wooster 8-1 in the weekend opener before being swept 9-0 by the University of Chicago Saturday night.
Senior Adam Van Zee and sophomore Jay Horrey combined for the only victory of the weekend for Wabash. The duo took an 8-3 victory over Wooster's Sam and Ted Hickey.
Wabash returns to action on Sunday when the Little Giants travel to Ohio for two matches. The team will open with an NCAC match at Kenyon College in the morning before traveling to Cleveland to play Case Western Reserve in the afternoon.
