Little Giant Golfers Enjoying Arizona Weather

Five members of the Wabash golf team have spent the spring break week visiting with alumni and playing some of the top golf courses in the Phoenix area. Wednesday the team participated in a three-way meet with Mesa Community College and Fort Hayes State University.

Senior JP Manalo, sophomores Bryan Arnold and Jordan Vice, and freshmen Kyle Nagdeman and Sam Russell have enjoyed the weather and the golf, if not the final scores.

"Arizona owns me right now," Russell said after completing his round at Dobson Ranch Golf Course Wednesday morning. "But we're enjoying beautiful weather, we're playing a lot of golf, and we're having a great time."

The team was joined Wednesday by Wabash alum Tom Bennett '60.

Wabash will play at Desert Forest Golf Course in Carefree on Thursday, spending the day with Dick Hurckes '56 before completing the week at the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park. The Little Giants will play with Roge Colehower '65 on Friday.

Earlier in the weeks Wabash played at Ocotillo Golf Course with Mike Rapier '89 and at Eagle Mountain Golf Course in Fountain Hills with John Gallios '52.
