Reference Librarian Jeff Beck accepted two prominent roles in the support of academic libraries in Indiana. First, he has been elected chair of the Indiana Academic Library Association, a member organization open to all private and public college and university librarians in the state of Indiana. He will serve as chair in 2007 and past chair in 2008.
Also he has been chosen to serve as a member of the PALNI New Products and Services Task Force. The charge of this task force is to identify and prioritize among new products and services to support the mission of the two dozen private college libraries in Indiana
