Wabash and DePauw managed to complete the scheduled tennis match between the two schools Wednesday night with only three matches moving to the indoor courts. The Little Giants lost 9-0 to the eighth-ranked Tigers.
Jay Horrey battled in the second set against Kortney Keith in number one singles after losing 6-1 in the first. Horrey took a 5-4 lead in the second before Keith, ranked 15th in the Central Region, rallied to take a 7-5 victory. The Tigers won in straight sets in every match. (View photos from the match.)
The Little Giants will look to rebound Saturday when they close the regular season at Ohio Wesleyan University. Wabash will play OWU in the morning before taking on Capital University in the afternoon.
