Offense Struggles in Soccer Loss to Wilmington

The Little Giants were outshot for the second consecutive match,eventually losing 3-0 to Wilmington College in the final match of the Allen Soccer Classic hosted by Centre College.

Wabash managed nine total shots in the match, putting six on goal. Wilmington finished with 17 total shots and 13 shots on goal.Three found the way to the back of the net, with the first coming in the 27th minute. Robert Kroeze scored on a pass from Emil Nordstrom for what would prove to be the eventual game-winner. The Quakers added two more goals late in the second half.

Blaken Wamsley and Andrew Kapsalis each had two shots to pace the Wabash effort. Jon Miller suffered the loss in goal despite making 10 saves.

Wabash (2-3) returns to action Wednesday afternoon with a 5:30 p.m. match against Trinity Christian College.
