Huff Earns NCAC Weekly Honor

Wabash quarterback Dustin Huff earned North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after setting Wabash records for passing yards and total yards in the Little Giants' 35-33 victory over Franklin Saturday.

The 6-0, 191-pound senior from Martinsville High School was 27-of-44 passing for 477 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed for 22 yards on six carries. Seven of his completions went for more than 25 yards, including three for more than 50. He tossed two 53-yard passes to Bart Banach --- with one going for a touchdown --- and had a 54-yard pass to Ray Green.

Huff's 477 passing yards eclipsed the Wabash single game record of 459 yards by Jake Knott ’03 against Allegheny in 2000. Huff also broke Knott's record of 485 yards of total offense against DePauw in 1999 by accumulating 499 total yards on Saturday.
