Harriers Finish Eighth at Little State

Freshman Seth Einterz finished eighth individually, equalling the Wabash team finish at the 2007 Indiana Intercollegiate Men's Cross Country Championships Friday afternoon at Purdue University.

The first-year runner from Zionsville, Indiana was eighth in the Little State Division of the unofficial state championship meet and 26th out of 194 runners overall. Einterz crossed the finish line with a time of 26:09.33.

Hugh Jackson was 30th for the Little Giants (26:47.48). Sam Compton-Craig was 33rd (26:52.50), while Geoff Lambert  finished 46th overall (27:13:64). Ben Bly completed the team scoring, finishing 60th (27:39.40).

Wabash scored 176 points for an eighth-place finish. Southern Indiana won the Little State title with 55 points. Anderson was second (96 points), DePauw finished third (111), while Indiana Tech took fourth (116). Tri-State (132), Taylor (141), and Huntington (152) all edged out the Little Giants. Indiana State took the overall title with 47 total points. Wabash was 13th in the overall standings.

The Little Giants are off for two weeks. The team will compete at the Notre Dame Invitational September 28.
