No Homecoming Celebration For Wabash Soccer

The weather and crowd were wonderful. The result was much less so.

The Big Red quickly silenced a large Homecoming crowd on hand to support the Wabash squad (view photos of the match). Denison's Andy Leindecker took a pass from Ryan Linn and scored five minutes into the match. Tyler Dolanch added a second goal in the 24th minute to make it a 2-0 contest.

Denison took nine shots to three for Wabash in the first period. The Big Red finished with nine shots on goal and 16 total shot attempts. Wabash put three of its five shots on net. Gary Simkus had two shots on goal, while freshman Mark Babcock added one. Jon Miller made six saves.
