Nick Gdanetz' goal in the 88th minute kept Saturday's North Coast Athletic Conference soccer match from going into overtime. The 1-0 final gave the Hiram College Terriers a home victory over Wabash, sending the Little Giants to 2-10 for the season and an 0-4 mark in league play.
Gdanetz took a pass from Jamie Ganner in the closing minutes and fired one of Hiram's six shots on goal. The Terriers outshot Wabash 14-2 overall. Andre Hall managed the only shot on goal for the Little Giants listed in the statistics provided by Hiram.
Wabash travels to Earlham College Wednesday afternoon for a 4:30 p.m. NCAC match.
