Jenn Laskowski is a second-year doctoral student in the Student Affairs Administration and Research Program at the University of Iowa. She recently served as a research assistant for Ernest Pascarella in the Center for Research on Undergraduate Education (CRUE) and held a second research assistantship with the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity, where she used qualitative research methods to better understand and improve the university's diversity climate. Prior to attending the University of Iowa, Jenn worked at the Center of Inquiry in the Liberal Arts at Wabash College. There she learned the value of gathering evidence regarding the impact of liberal arts education and of using assessment as a means of improving institutional practices. Jenn received her Master of Letters degree in English and 18th-century studies from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
