Tennis Team Finishes Sixth At NCAC Tournament

The Wabash tennis team completed its season on Saturday as Wooster defeated the Little Giants 4-1 in the fifth-place match of the North Coast Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament.

Mark Ratner (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) won the No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-2 to earn the only point for the Little Giants.

Wabash ended the season with a 10-18 record overall, 2-2 in the NCAC and a sixth-place finish in the tournament.

No. 1 Singles - Mark Ratner (Wabash) defeated Rob Ogg (Wooster) 6-3, 6-2

No. 3 Singles - Paul Wiley (Wooster) defeated Brian Miller (Wabash) 6-1, 6-1

No. 5 Singles - Jim Sayed (Wooster) defeated Andrew Shelton (Wabash) 6-0, 6-4

No. 6 Singles - Clint Bailey (Wooster) defeated Todd Witte (Wabash) 7-5, 6-1

No 1. Doubles - Rob Ogg and Jake Sintich (Wooster) defeated Mark Ratner and Scott Paramoure (Wabash) 8-4

No.2 Doubles - Matt Bierlein and Jim Sayed (Wooster) defeated Brian Miller and Todd Witte (Wabash) 8-4

No. 3 Doubles - Brandon Lichtman and Kirk Lapham (Wooster) defeated Dan Altman and Andrew Shelton 8-3
