While students were engaging the world through internships and travel last summer, one Wabash professor had immersion experiences of her own, thanks to a grant received from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
English professor Agata Szczeszak-Brewer, the College’s scholar in the works of James Joyce, received a stipend from and participated in the National Endowment for the Humanities seminar on Joyce’s Ulysses at Trinity College, Dublin. She has published an article, "Teleology without a Telos?: Constitutive Absence in James Joyce’s Pilgrimage" in Mobilities.
