Mills 19th As Little Giants Finish Sixth On Links

The Wabash golf team improved by 20 strokes in the second round but could not pick up any ground on the competition, finishing second at the North Coast Athletic Conference Golf Tournament at Wanago Country Club. The Little Giants shot a 342 on Friday, but improved to 322 on Saturday for a two-day total of 664.

Joe Mills (Lafayette, IN/Central Catholic) took 19th place in the individual honors. Mills finished the first round on Friday with an 84 before shooting a 74 on Saturday for a two-round total of 158. James Lisher (Shelbyville, IN/Indiana Academy) finished tied with teammate Rob McCourt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) for 29th place with a two-day total of 169. Lisher shot an 87 on Friday and an 82 on Saturday, while McCourt finished 85-84.

Adam Berry (Evansville, IN/Reitz Memorial) and Chris Miltenberger (West Chester, OH/Lakota West) completed the Wabash team scoring. Berry shot a 173 (86-87) and Miltenberger fired a 176 (94-82).
