Wabash Doubles' Team Scores Win in California

Wabash may have lost 8-1 to 12th-ranked University of Mary Washington to open its 2008 spring break trip in California, but the doubles pairing of Ryan Tennison and Luke Robbins managed to score an 8-4 win over the regionally-ranked duo from the Eagles.

The two freshmen took the win against Evan Goff and Bryce Parrish, ranked ninth in the Atlantic South region in the ITA Tennis rankings. Will Pelak and Jay Horrey also faced regionally-ranked opponents at number singles, losing 8-3 to Randy Loden and Kaz Murata (sixth in the Atlantic South).

The team loss dropped Wabash to 4-4 for the season. The Little Giants continue their West Coast trip with a Tuesday match at Pomona Pitzer at 2 p.m. (PST).
