Wabash took on 30th-ranked Pomona-Pitzer Colleges Tuesday afternoon as part of the team's California spring break trip. The Little Giants lost 6-3 to the Sagehens.
Junior Jay Horrey scored a straight sets victory at number two singles over Drew Olian, winning 7-5, 7-6 (3). Fellow junior Sean Clerget defeated Michael Powell 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 at number single singles.
Horrey and freshman Will Pelak combined for an 8-3 victory in the first flight of doubles play.
Wabash falls to 4-5 with the loss. The Little Giants take on Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Wednesday afternoon.
