McGuire threw a complete game on Sunday, picking up a 9-8 victory over Denison for his fourth win of the season. The win was also the 23rd of his career, tying him with Kelly House ’90 for the most victories in a career at Wabash. McGuire struck out seven on Sunday and allowed five earned runs.
McGuire is an English major at Wabash, and is involved in Sphinx Club and the Student Senate. He is the baseball representative to the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, a member of the Dean’s List, and is a Presidential Scholar. He was the 1999 Most Valuable Player for Wabash, and is the son of Fred and Cindy McGuire of Carmel, IN.
