2-1 Loss to Dension Ends the 2002 Soccer Season for Wabash

Wabash lost its final soccer game of the season, dropping a 2-1 decision at Denison on Saturday afternoon. The Little Giants finish the year 8-10, 3-6 in North Coast Athletic Conferenc play.

Wabash tied the match at 1-1 in the 76th minute when senior defenseman Casey Gioielli (Cincinnati, OH/Indian Hills) scored his first goal of the season. Gioielli's shot was one of nine for Wabash, while Denison attempted 16 shots in the match.

The game-winner came on a rebound off of a penalty kick with just seven minutes left the match.
