The Wabash cross country team was honored by the US Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association for having the eighth-best team grade point average in the country this season. Freshman Seth Einterz was also recognized as a member of the Coaches' All-Academic Team.
The Little Giants posted a team GPA of 3.48. Massachusetts Institute of Technology had the top grade point average among Division III teams with a 3.68 mark. Hamilton, Haverford, Macalester, Amherst, Carleton, and Stevens Institute of Technology were the only other teams with higher averages.
Einterz (right) posted a 4.0 GPA in his first semester at Wabash to earn a place on the All-Academic Team.
