Wabash shot a 333 at the first day of the Ohio Wesleyan University/Strimer Memorial Golf Invitational. Jordan Vice and Luke Moton are tied for 22nd after both shot 81s in the opening round of the two-day event.
Vice fired a 39 on the front nine at Oakhaven Golf Club Saturday afternoon, but finished with a 42 on the back side. Moton went 40-41 over 18 holes. Bryan Arnold shot an 82 (40-42), putting him in a tie for 28th place after one round. Sam Russel shot an 89 (45-44), while Jordan Koch finished with a 90 (46-44).
Ohio Wesleyan leads the first round with a total of 299. The tournament is schedule to conclude Sunday, depending on weather in the central Ohio region.
