DesJean, the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year and a member of the D3Hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region team for the 2001-02 season, led the conference in rebounding with an average of 9.8 boards per game. He also led the NCAC in blocked shots with 61. DesJean topped the conference list in field goal shooting percentage, hitting 170-of-285 shots (.596) in 26 games. He scored his 1,000th point and grabbed his 600th career rebound last year to become only the eighth Wabash player to accomplish the feat.
DesJean is a two-time First Team All-NCAC selection. He was 23rd in the nation in rebounds, blocked shots, and field goal shooting percentage last year.
