Wabash College has designated William (Jake) Peacock, Donovan Bisbee, and Zachary Rohrbach as Lilly Scholarship winners for the Class of 2012.
The Wabash College Lilly Award Scholarship, named to honor the Lilly family of Indiana, was established by the Wabash College Board of Trustees in 1974. Each year this program recognizes outstanding young men who show high potential and future promise—men who are likely to have an impact not only on Wabash, but on their community and thus on our world. The Lilly Award, the College’s most prestigious scholarship, is renewable annually and covers the recipient’s tuition, fees, room and board currently valued at over $140,000.
Jake Peacock is the son of Jamie and Tom Peacock of Crawfordsville. He is a graduating senior at Woodberry Forest School in Woodberry Forest, Virginia. Jake is an Eagle Scout and has been involved his school’s theater, the Outdoors Club, and was Photo Editor for the Woodberry Forest school newspaper.
Donovan Bisbee is the son of Nancy and Kenneth Bisbee of Ridgefield, Washington. Donovan is a student at Ridgefield High School where he is captain of the Debate Team, involved in theater, and holds first chair in the Symphonic and Jazz bands. He is active in 4-H and is an Eagle Scout.
Zachary Rohrbach is the son of Margaret and Kurt Rohrbach of Indianapolis. Zach is an Eagle Scout and plays piano and the xylophone for the Marching Band and Concert Band. Zach holds offices in the National Honor Society and the Speech Team.
