Moodle Migration Moving Forward

Work is progressing on the College's migration from Blackboard to Moodle, which we will now use as our campus course management system this fall. Access to our new Moodle server is now available to faculty, who can log in and begin setting up fall courses.

When Can I Get Started?
Faculty now have access to our new Moodle server, which went live on July 8.  You can log in and begin setting up your fall courses at your convenience.  Please note that while your courses will be available to you, student enrollment in the course will not be in place until later in July.  To log into Moodle, go to http://moodle.wabash.edu, or click on the "Moodle" link at the top of the Wabash home page.

What About my Old Blackboard Courses?
We are working with a company in Australia to develop a custom Blackboard course import tool to ensure that you have easy access to all historical course information.  We're in the final phase of testing this now; some of you will see some old courses when you log in to Moodle next week.  All courses will be migrated by the end of July.

What About my Organizations?
Content from organizations and groups will be migrated in early August, with all content moved from Blackboard to Moodle no later than August 8.

Moodle Training Opportunities
We have a number of sessions through our "Summer Tech School" program for you to learn about using Moodle in your classes.  The schedule of Moodle classes for faculty, along with a brief description, is listed below.  To sign up for the July sessions, click on the following link (sign-up for August courses will be available later in July).
