Hartnett Teaching at Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome

Assistant Professor of Classic Jeremy Hartnett ’96 organized a session on "The ‘Spatial Turn’ and Beyond: Roman Cities and the Archaeology of Daily Life," and presented  "Ethnography of a Corner: Towards an Archaeology of Daily Urban Life" at the Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference in Amsterdam in April.

Professor Hartnett is spending this academic year as Associate Professor at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, where, in September, he delivered a paper entitled "Hey, I’m Walking Here! The Power of Nuisances on the Roman Street" at the Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists.
