Senior Jordan Vice tied for sixth place with a two-day total of 150 strokes to help Wabash to a fifth-place finish at the Oberlin Fall Golf Invitational. The fall meet is a part of the North Coast Athletic Conference Golf Championship Series.
Vice fired back-to-back 75's to tie with Ohio Wesleyan's Jesse Chiero and Denison's Rob Parks. Sam Russell shot a 155 (78-77) to tie for 13th. Luke Moton (80-83--13) tied for 25th. Jordan Koch (81-85--166) was 29th. Drew Palmer was 40th with a 180 (89-91).
Charlie Kelly played as an individual, finishing in a tie for 19th place (81-78--159).
The Little Giants tallied 634 strokes as a team. Ohio Wesleyan won the event with 581 strokes. Wittenberg (607) was second, followed by Allegheny (608), and Denison (626). Wooster (647) was sixth, with Kenyon (653) and Hiram (709) completing the team scoring.
Wabash will compete at the DePauw Fall Invitational October 4th and 5th.
