Wabash Harriers Split the State in Weekend Competition

Half of the Wabash cross country team headed north to South Bend to compete at the annual Notre Dame Invitational Friday afternoon. The remainder of the squad ran Saturday morning at the Hanover College Pre-National Meet in southern Indiana. The Little Giants finished 21st at the Notre Dame meet while grabbing 13th at Hanover.

Senior Hugh Jackson (right) posted the fastest time for the Little Giants Friday afternoon, finishing 70th in the Gold Division race with a time of 26:22. Junior Grahm Johnson was 127th (27:09), while Sam Compton-Craig was 143rd (27:29). Justin Allen added a 155th-place finish (27:45).

Sophomore Seth Einterz (left) completed his return to racing, recovering from mononucleosis over the summer. Einterz finished 35th at Hanover with a time of 26:38. Freshman Donavan White took 82nd place (27:29). Colin Dunlap was 96th (27:47). Kevin McCarthy finished 98th (27:48), and Bill Digman was 105th (27:57).

Wabash will compete at the Inter-Regional Rumble at Oberlin October 18.
