Healy, Hong, Miller, and McCoy Lead Little Giants to Ninth at North Central Invite

The Wabash College wrestling team took ninth place out of 21 teams at the 39th Annual North Central College Wrestling Invitational, held over the weekend in Naperville, Illinois.

Four Little Giants placed in the top-eight over the weekend. Sophomore Chris Healy (Jasper, IN/Jasper) was second at 174 pounds, falling in a tight 9-8 decision in the championship match.

Sophomore Adam Miller (Pendleton, IN/Pendleton Heights) also earned a second-place finish for Wabash at 157 pounds. Miller's trip through the bracket included a 6-4 victory over the number-two seed in the tournament.

Sophomore Phu Hong (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence Central) took third at 125 pounds. Hong won his final match by a 9-6 decision.

Sophomore Drew McCoy (New Palastine, IN/Palastine) was eighth at 149 pounds.

Wabash finished with 65.6 points overall.
