Wabash finished ninth out of 30 teams at the Inter-Regional Rumble men's cross country race at Oberlin College Saturday morning.
Sophomore Seth Einterz (right) ran at race pace for the first time this season, flying to the top time for the season by a Wabash runner with a mark of 25:36 to finish 28th overall. Hugh Jackson took 32nd place with a season-best time of 25:40. Freshman Donavan White was third-quickest for the Little Giants, crossing the finish line in 26:12 (68th). Fellow freshman Kevin McCarthy was 71st (26:14), while Micah Milliman completed the team scoring with a 77th-place finish (26:19).
Wabash scored 276 total points. New York University won the meet with 47 points. Dickinson College was second (104), followed by Ohio Northern (115), St. Lawrence (133), Allegheny (155), Mount Union (177), Kenyon (234), and DePauw (239).
The Little Giants will be off next week before competing November 1 at the North Coast Athletic Conference championship race at Oberlin.
