Sophomore cross country runner Seth Einterz earned a trip to the NCAA Division III National Championship race with a 17th-place finish at Saturday's Regional at Otterbein College. The Little Giants finished sixth overall in the team scoring.
Einterz cruised the course in 25:30.12 to advance to the nationals. Seniors Hugh Jackson and Sam Compton-Craig completed their careers with strong showings. Jackson took 41st with a time of 26:04.30, while Compton-Craig was 47 after finishing in 26:08.99.
Junior Micah Milliman finished 53rd (26:17.12). Freshman Kevin McCarthy completed the team scoring with a 73rd-place finish (26:30.75).
Wabash scored 231 points in the final team standings. Calvin (37 points) won the Regional for the 13th consecutive year. Ohio Northern was second (88 points), while Mount Union (121) took third.
