Wabash Trio Earns Soccer Conference Honors

Wabash players Mark Babcock, Austin Jennings, and Allan Swan have been named to the 2008 All-North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Team.

Babcock (left), a 2007 Honorable Mention selection, earned Second team honors as a sophomore for his defensive work and leadership on the Wabash squad. He scored two goals, including the first game-winner of his career in the Little Giants' 1-0 win over Franklin College. Babcock, a graduate of Chesterton High School in Chesterton, Indiana, finished the season with two goals and one assist.

Jennings (right), a freshman forward, was an Honorable Mention selection. He led Wabash in scoring with nine goals and 18 points. His nine goals tied for fourth-best among NCAC players. His goals-per-game average of 0.47 was seventh in the conference. A Noblesvillle High School graduate, Jennings started all 19 games for the Little Giants this season.
