Down 16 points at the 11:17 mark, the Little Giants went on a 15-4 run over the next five minutes, capped by a pair of Maloney free throws to make the score 49-44. The Tigers responded with a three from Steve Lemasters and a three-point play from Moore to move in front by 11 once again. Brock would cut the lead back to single digits with a layup in the final minute before free throws created the final differential.

Brock recorded his second double-double of the season, leading Wabash with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Smith added 12 points and Maloney finished with 10. Moore led all scorers with 21 points. Lemasters added added 11 for DePauw (3-2).

The Little Giants finished 17-of-52 from the field for 33 percent, including 2-of-18 from the three-point arc. DePauw was 21-of-52 from the field and 7-of-20 from three-point range.
