Senior tennis player Jay Horrey tied the Wabash career doubles victories record Saturday when he joined freshman Peter Gunderman for an 8-4 win in the first flight against Earlham. The Little Giants won the North Coast Athletic Conference match 9-0 over their in-state rivals.

The win was the 58th of Horrey's career in doubles action, tying the mark set by Dan Altman '02. Horrey also picked up a straight sets 6-0, 6-4 victory at number one singles for his 61st career victory, placing him two wins behind Mark Ratner '00 and the school record of 63.

Gunderman added a dominating 6-0, 6-1 win at number four singles. Senior Ryan Waldon took a 6-1, 6-0 victory at number two singles, while Zach Lowry won in straight sets (6-1, 6-0) at number three singles. Ricky Ritter won 6-2, 6-0 at number five singles. Ian Sequeira completed the singles sweep for Wabash with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at number six singles.

Senior Sean Clerget and Ritter added an 8-2 win at number two doubles. The Wabash duo of Waldon and Lowry easily controlled their number three doubles match, winning 8-0.

Wabash was also scheduled to play Grace College in a double-header Saturday, but bad weather and poor travel conditions prevented the Lancers from traveling to Crawfordsville.

Wabash improved to 4-2 with the win, and are 1-1 in the NCAC. The Little Giants will compete against Hope College and Luther College Saturday in Greencastle, Indiana.
