Tuesday Tourney Tipoff Moved to 7 p.m.

The starting time for Tuesday night's quarterfinal-round game of the 2009 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament between Wabash and Hiram has been moved to 7 p.m.

The change in the start time was agreed upon by both schools and the NCAC office to assist in the total travel time involved for the Wabash basketball team on its return to Crawfordsville, Indiana from Hiram after the game Tuesday. Tipoff was originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Wabash earned the sixth seed in the tournament after finishing the regular season with a record of 12-12 overall and 7-9 in NCAC play. The Terriers are the third seed with a mark of 16-9 and an 11-5 league record.

The Little Giants have won each of their road quarterfinal games as the fifth seed the past two season, winning at Allegheny in 2007 and at Kenyon in 2008. Wabash is 9-9 in the NCAC Tournament overall since joining the league for the 1999-2000 season. The Little Giants are 7-2 in the quarterfinal round with a 2-1 record when traveling for the opening game.

Tickets for Tuesday night's game at Hiram will be on sale at the door and are $5 for adults, $4 for faculty and staff with college-issued IDs, and $2 for children and students with college-issued IDs. The game will be broadcast on 91.3 FM WNDY, the Wabash College radio station beginning at 6:50 p.m. The broadcast is also available over the Internet here.
