Little Giants senior wrestlers Joe Scanlon (Lafayette, IN/McCutcheon) and Logan Kuhne (Ft. Wayne, IN/Northrop), along with sophomore All-American 174-pounder Chris Healy (Jasper, IN/Jasper) were named Scholar All-Americans by the NWCA. Wrestlers must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 to be nominated for the award. Kuhne and Scanlon both received the award last season. Healy earned the award for the first time. He finished eighth at 174 pounds to earn All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championships earlier this month.
The Wabash team finished fifth in the national GPA rankings for the second time in four years. The Little Giants were fifth nationally in 1999 in the 10-man team GPA championship. Wabash won the team GPA championship in 1998 and 2000.
