Paramoure opened the weekend with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Maxx Somers of Hanover before falling 6-3, 6-1 to Wittenberg’s Casey Clagett. Paramoure went three sets before falling in his final match to Ryan Drew of Ohio Wesleyan University, losing 6-4, 1-6, 6-4.
Senior Andrew Shelton (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) added a sixth-place finish at number two singles. Paramoure and Cameron Starnes (Crawfordsville, IN/Crawfordsville) went 1-2 for the weekend to take sixth place at number one doubles. Paul Drambarean (Attica, IN/Attica) and Curt Eilers (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) combined for a sixth-place finish at number three doubles.
Washington University swept the competition, taking all nine championships to finish with 108 points. Wittenberg was second with 59 points. Transylvania (47 points), Ohio Wesleyan (35 points), and Rose-Hulman (27 points) rounded out the top-five. Hanover (19 points), Anderson (16 points), and Wabash (13 points) completed the team scoring.
