Golfers Take Third at Big Four Classic

Freshman golfer Elliot Vice (Ladoga, IN/Southmont) fired an 82 on Tuesday to take ninth place and lead the Wabash golf team to a third-place finish at the Big Four Golf Tournament, held at Crooked Stick Golf Course in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Wabash finished with 335 strokes, six strokes better than Hanover College (341). Butler University won the event, shooting a 304. DePauw fired a 323 to take second.

Vice's 82 gave him his second top-ten tournament finish of the season. He took fourth at the Hanover Invitational in his first collegiate competition.

Sophomore Kevin Casey (Indianapolis, IN/Cathedral) fired an 83 to finish 11th. Junior Caleb Selby (Crawfordsville, IN/Southmont) shot an 85 for 14th place.

The Wabash golf team will participate in the Kenyon Cup Classic on Saturday at the Apple Valley Golf Course in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
