Five-Stroke Difference Puts Wabash Third at Big Four Classic

A total of five strokes separated first and fifth place at Thursday's Big Four Golf Classic at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Indianapolis. Wabash finished third with a total of 318 strokes, trailing DePauw (313) and Butler (317).

Senior Jordan Vice led the Wabash golf team, finishing in a tie for second place with DePauw's Ronnie Harris after firing a 75 for 18 holes. Butler's Kyle Thomas won medalist honors with a 73.

Jordan Koch tied for fourth place with a 77. Sam Russell tied for ninth by shooting an 82. Drew Palmer completed the team scoring by tying for 13th place with a total of 84 strokes. Kyle Nagdeman (84), and Jake German (85) also competed for the Little Giants.

The Little Giants will serve as host for next weekend's Wabash Invitational. The two-day tournament will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Trophy Club Golf Course near Lebanon, Indiana, and is part of the North Coast Athletic Conference Golf Championship Series.
