Moseman, Kelley Lead Wabash at Rose Twilight Track Meet

Alex Moseman won the hammer throw and Devin Kelley added a victory in the discus as part of 24 top-ten finishing effort for Wabash at Friday night's unscored Rose-Hulman Twilight Track Invitational. 

Moseman posted the top throw in the hammer with a mark of 48.06 meters (157 feet, 8 inches). Kelley's throw of 42.80 meters (140 feet, 5 inches) in the discus was half-a-meter farther than any of the other competitors. Teammate Darryl Kennon took sixth place with a mark of 39.65 meters (130 feet, 1 inch). Kennon added a fifth-place finish in the shot put (12.86 meters; 42 feet, 2-1/4 inches), while Moseman grabbed ninth place (12.15 meters; 39 feet, 10-1/2 inches).

The Little Giants dominated the 5000-meter run, grabbing seven of the top-15 places. Sam Compton-Craig led the parade of Wabash finishers, crossing the line in 15:41.01 for sixth place. Bill Digman was seventh with a time of 15:42.78, while Micah Milliman took eighth place (15:45.18). Brian David was next to cross the finish line for the Little Giants with a ninth-place finish (15:47.08), followed by Seth Einterz in tenth (15:47.97). Colin Dunlap just missed a top-ten finish, finishing in 15:51.27 for 11th place. Hugh Jackson was 13th (15:52.98) and Justin Allen was 15th (15:56.91).

Emmanual Aouad took second place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.37. He earned a fourth place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.46 meters (21 feet, 2-1/2 inches). Mike Russell took seventh place (6.35 meters; 20 feet, 10 inches), while Wade Heiny was tenth (6.15 meters; 20 feet, 2-1/4 inches). Aouad was third (15.04) in the 110-meter hurdles, with Heiny capturing fifth place (15.42). Russell also took ninth place in the 100-meter dash (11.34) and tenth in the 200 (22.84).

Kevin McCarthy finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.04. Lemi Laki added a tenth place finish in the same event with a time of 1:59.44.

Donavan White and Einterz were eighth and ninth, respectively, in the 1500-meter run. White finished in 4:00.73, while Einterz was a step behind by crossing the finish line in 4:01.61.

Wes Chamblee, Russell, Jake Zielinski, and Aouad combined to finish fourth in the 400-meter relay with a time of 43.98. The Little Giants closed the meet with a second place finish in the 1600-meter relay with a time of 3:22.85 posted by the quartet of Chamblee, Laki, Zielinski, and Russell.
