Alumni, family, and friends filled a banquet room at Maggiano's in downtown Chicago Tuesday evening for the annual Wabash Club of Chicago Scholarship Dinner. The weather wasn't great for mid-April, but the crowd assembled didn't mind as Wabash men covering 6 decades gathered and welcomed prospective Wabash students and their families from the Chicagoland area.
Following student introductions, a welcome from President Pat White and dinner, the crowd heard from longtime English professor Tobey Herzog. Dr. Herzog, a big fan of Chicago, spoke to the audience about immersion learning at Wabash and drew specific examples from his own immersion trips to another of his favorite cities, London.
Thanks to Dr. Herzog and his wife Peggy for making the trip for this important event and to Greg Jania '93 for handling the emcee duties once again. Please click here for a few photos from the evening.
