Tennis Team Loses 5-2 to Denison at GLCA Tourney

The Wabash College tennis team lost a 5-2 match against North Coast Athletic Conference Western Division opponent Denison University on Saturday morning in the final round of the Great Lakes Colleges Association Men's Tennis Tournament, held at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

Senior Scott Paramoure (New Brownfels, TX/New Brownfels) picked up his third victory of the weekend in singles play with a 7-5, 6-1 straight sets win over Chris Compton of Denison. Aaron Galvan (Brownsville, TX/Simon Rivera) won his number six singles match by default when his opponent was unable to continue the match due to an injury.

Wabash falls to 2-13 for the year, 0-3 in the NCAC West. The Little Giants' final NCAC Western Division regular season match is set for Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. against Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
