Little Giants Sixth at Second NCAC Fall Tourney

Sam Russell's consistent play kept Wabash sixth out of eight teams at the Hiram College Invitational over the weekend. The tournament was the second portion of the North Coast Athletic Conference Golf Championship Series.

Russell shot a pair of 79s to finish tied for 17th overall at 158 strokes. Jordan Koch tied for 21st with a two-day total of 159 (80-79). Kyle Nagdeman shot a 166 (86-80). Andrew Palmer's 167 (82-85) completed the team scoring for the Little Giants, giving Wabash a total of 650 strokes. 

Wittenberg won the tournament with a score of 600. Ohio Wesleyan was second (610), followed by Allegheny (615), Wooster (632), and Denison (646). Kenyon took seventh place (676), while the host Terriers finished eighth (761).

Wabash will compete against Rose-Hulman Thursday afternoon in Terre Haute at the Hulman Links in the Giant-Engineer Match Play Classic.
