"Femi really had a tremendous week," head soccer coach Roberto Giannini said after the match. "He scored two very good goals Wednesday and just missed a third goal in that match. He worked hard again today to put good shots on net and was rewarded with three goals."

Ian Kelly opened the scoring for the Little Giants with a goal off an assist from Jon Funston in the 28th minute. Nine minutes later Kelly found Oluyeden in front of the net for his first goal of the match. The Gators answered with an unassisted goal from Chris Brennan nearly twenty minutes into the second half.

Oluyedun added his second goal in the 78th minute off a pass from Dylan Andrew to make it a 3-1 Wabash lead. The duo hooked up again in the final minute of play to give Oluyedun the first hat trick for the Little Giants since Austin Jennings scored three goals last season against Holy Cross College.

"We looked really, really determined as a team today," Giannini said. "We had some flashbacks to the Denison match two weeks ago when we saw a 2-0 lead get away from us. We kept our composure in the second half, packed in a little bit in the middle. That left Femi open up front to score those last two goals."
