Senior safety Addrian Frederick has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware.
Frederick received the honor after making four interceptions in Wabash's 10-7 loss Saturday against Wittenberg to tie the school record for interceptions in game (Joe Haklin with four versus Hanover in 1971). Frederick has seven interceptions for the season, second-most among all Division III football players. He is one interception away from tying the school record of eight in a season and currently ranks fourth in Wabash history with 13 interceptions.
The Rensselaer, Indiana native picked off three passes in the first half and just missed snaring a fourth. He added one more interception in the final half of play to equal Haklin's record. Frederick also made seven total tackles with three unassisted in the game against Wittenberg. He has recorded interceptions in four of his last five games played and has eight total turnovers this season with a fumble recovery against Washington University.
