It wasn’t like an overnight kind of thing or anything .. it was a slow process, when I got here I didn’t hate food but I didn’t have the passion for it I have now. Then over my time here, getting involved with the cooking Club … studying abroadin Italy certainly did hurt anything, then the popularity of food .. it’s gained popularity in national media … none of that has hurt my interest (Food Network) .. Racheal Ray has her own talk show, Emeril Live and things like that. .. all these people have become celebrities.
It’s something that’s sort of grown in me. Something my girlfriend sees in me, whenever I go into a sorta unique grocery store or whenever I finish cooking a meal . it’s kind of a differen Brad whenever I’m doing those sort of things. It’s a passion that is hard for me to ignore .. when I came to Wabash I was planning on becoming a lawyer .. I’ve been on that tract .. I’m probably on track to be Phi Beta Kappa, I have good grades but it’s like .. I was filling out applications for a law internship this past summer and I didn’t even have the motivation to fill out the application to do these things, and I’m planning on doing this for the rest of my life?
