Wabash Soccer Drops Home Match to Rose-Hulman

In a match that saw only eight combined shots on goal, Wabash saw the Rose-Hulman soccer team put two into the net to claim a 2-0 victory at Mud Hollow Field on Saturday afternoon.

Wabash had a total of three shots on goal in the contest. Two came from senior defender Cody Lawson (Carmel, IN/Carmel) and one came off the foot of freshman Paul Ackermann (Indianapolis, IN/Cathedral). But the Little Giants could not find the back of the net. Meanwhile, the Fighting Engineers put one shot in the goal in the first three minutes of the match, then added an insurance goal in the 64th minute while attempting only five shots on goal.

Sophomore Will McAdams (Carmel, IN/Carmel) made three saves in the loss for the Little Giants, who drop to 3-3 for the year. Wabash will travel to Greencastle, IN on Wednesday afternoon for a 3 p.m. match against DePauw University.
