Rhinemith Named NCAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

Wabash junior Evan Rhinesmith has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week after posting four first-place finishes in two dual meets for the Little Giants.

Rhinesmith (McCordsville, IN/Mt. Vernon HS) won the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events in Wednesday's dual meet against Washington University - St. Louis. He finished with a time of 1:00.00 to take first place in the 100 breaststroke, then finished with a time of 2:14.88 in the 200 breaststroke to win that event. He won Saturday' 100 breaststroke with a time of 59.64 and the 200 by finishing in 2:15.22 swimming against the University of Indianapolis.

Rhinesmith broke his own school record in the 100 breaststroke earlier this season, posting a time of 5713 at the DePauw Invitational. He also owns the Little Giants' best times of the season in the 200 breaststroke (2:09.66) and the 200 individual medley (1:57.42).
