Senior basketball player Aaron Brock has been named the Wabash College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Athlete of the Week for the period ending January 31, 2010.
Brock scored a total of 38 points in two games for the Little Giant basketball team, including a season-high 23 points in Wabash's 73-67 loss to Ohio Wesleyan University Wednesday night. He also grabbed a career-best 15 rebounds in that contest. Saturday Brock tallied 15 points, tying for team-high honors. He averaged 19 points and 8.5 rebounds for the week to go with one assist, a blocked shot, and one steal.
The Athlete of the Week Award is selected by members of the Wabash SAAC from nominations submitted by the coaches for each sport currently in season. The Award is announced each Tuesday.
